π° Expense Tracker β MERN Stack Web Application
A full-stack Expense Tracker application built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
This app allows users to track daily expenses and monitor spending patterns through a clean and responsive interface.
The project focuses on building a complete CRUD-based system with proper data flow between the frontend and backend.
β¨ Features
- Add and delete expense entries
- View expense history and totals
- Persistent data storage using MongoDB
- Responsive UI for desktop and mobile devices
π Tech Stack
Frontend
- React β component-based UI and state management
- CSS β styling and responsive design
Backend
- Node.js β server runtime
- Express.js β REST API and routing
- MongoDB β NoSQL database for storing data
π What I Learned
- Designing RESTful APIs
- Managing frontend and backend communication
- Implementing CRUD operations with MongoDB
- Structuring a full-stack application
